Introducing DewFront
DewFront is a weather app built for decisions. It leads with dew point and answers the question you actually had: should the windows be open tonight?
DewFront is a weather app that makes the decision for you. It is live at dewfront.com.
Most weather apps hand you a table and leave the thinking to you. They lead with relative humidity, the one number that cannot answer the question, because it moves with temperature: 90 percent humidity at 50°F is dry air, and 60 percent at 85°F is not.
DewFront leads with dew point instead. It is the reading that tells you how the air will actually feel, whether opening a window will help, and whether the night will be sleepable.
One verdict, not a table
DewFront weighs dew point against temperature, rain chance and wind, and gives you one answer for tonight: open all night, open until 5 AM, open after 11 PM, or keep them shut. When the answer is no, it names the reason, because a muggy night and a rainy night are different nights. It also names the best two hour window today for getting outside.
The case study is public
The production source is private. The case study is not: what DewFront does, how it is built, and the engineering decisions behind it. Measured on 2026-09-19, it ran 2,501 unit tests at 97.55 percent statement coverage, plus 55 end-to-end tests.
